    Description

    Here's an WATERMAN  #3V pen in  a marbled red pearl and from about 1935. The pen is 4-5/16" long. Trim is nickel plated, and is all in excellent condition. It has the standard WATERMAN  4 line barrel imprint of the period and a  3V impressed on the base of the barrel.  The lever filling system will need a new sac before it will take up ink.  On the positive side, all the plastic, including the section and feed seem to be flawless. The 14kt nib is marked  WATERMAN, IDEAL, REG. U.S., PAT. OFF., 2,  and probably MADE IN, U.S.A. below the section line. The nib is straight, with good iridium, fine point and significant flexibility. Nice pen
