Vintage Dorset Fifth Avenue Guilloche Blue Compact and Lipstick In Original Case

Vintage Dorset Fifth Avenue guilloche baby blue floral wild rose compact and lipstick set in the original navy blue case with purple satin lining. This was made somewhere between 1930-1950 as this company merged with their rival in 1951 and became Dorset Rex. The case shows very little wear the blue is still deep and dark. The purple satin lining is rich and beautiful There is even a flap behind the name Dorset Fifth Avenue where you could slide in paper money or a calling card just beautiful. Slight wear to the gold Dorset Fifth Avenue logo. The case measures when snapped shut 4 inches long by about 3 inches wide and just over 1 inch deep.  When open about 10 inches long full extended.
The beautiful compact with the gorgeous guilloche enamel in a robins egg blue and the wild rose floral is in excellent condition. It has the mirror and the original powder puff that reads Dorset Fifth Avenue and it also has the powder sieve under the puff. There are a few small dark spots on the mirror, and some of the gold tone on the bottom and sides has some surface wear and discoloration. The push button closure works great. It measures About 2 3/4 long by about 2 !/4 and about 1/2 inch deep.
The lipstick is empty but the twist mechanism works great. It has slight wear but no discoloration that I see. Some slight scratching from use. The guilloche is in beautiful condition on the end. It measures about 2 inches tall.
