Vintage 1956 compact from New York Gold tone brush and Harringbone metal

Description

Vintage square  mirrored  compact with a brushed gold tone metal front witha raised  The Satue of Liberty on it, then below that NEW YORK  and below that 1956 and inscribed in upper left corner MARY   The entire back has a machined haringbone design , snaps shut tightly,  comes with the original box and tissue sack ,  The powder puff appears unused and has removable  mesh filter on the bottom,   Mirror is intact but shows a small amount of  loss of some silvering (see photo)  This compact 65 year old compact is in very good to excellent condition  and measures approx 3.25" square and .5" deep.  Please view photos as they are the best description of the actual compact I have for sale
