Thermos Vintage Stanley Chrome 2 Quart LF&C Military Picnic

Stanley Super Vac Chrome vacuum bottle "Thermos", 1950s, 2 Quart, bottom says Stanley "It will not break" model 6500 by Landers, Frary & Clark.  Side specifies this is military grade with 3-31-50 military specifications MIL-C-3164A indicating stanless steel chromium alloy, This must be from the 50s since the military specs were modified in 1960 and LF&C went out of business in 65.  Side also specifies Order No 01 F-14248-62-3A  Type II Grade A.  This vacuum bottle measures 18 inches high with the drinking cup/lid on.  It holds two quarts.  There is a cork stopper.  There are directions engraved on the bottom for storing hot and cold liquids.  In good shape except for a slight dent in the lid (lids available on-line, same lid used for years on several models).  Would be nice in deco retro bar.  I had it for years in my Airstream trailer and used it with set of chrome/aluminum picnic tumblers.  Weighs 4 lbs 12 oz.  It is durable. Excellent for picnic.
