PLAINS - SIOUX ,HALTER BEADED NECKLACE

RARE AND BEAUTIFUL BEADED PLAINS SIOUX NECKLACE. The unique features of this piece is the duplication of each pattern and bead color of the patterns is repeated thru each side front and back both left and right sides. The stitching is still tight and intact, except for a couple of missing strands that dangle down on one side. The beads appear to be very early trade beads as they vary in width, and attributes to the artisan skill in keeping the patterns and rows semetrical. The three leaf pattern is the same as is seen on my listing for a beaded silver buckle belt. This three leaf pattern is also located on the silver buckle. The whirley bird symbol and a rose symbol is also prominant here. I do not know the exact age of this necklace. Check photo's carefully, email questions prior to bidding. Thanks for looking.
