You  are bidding on a Nikon Microscope ISO 42mm Phototube adapter with  male  C-Mount.
Typically sold  for Labophots, Eclipse, SMZ, Leica, Leitz
The original  product sold as a Nikon VT-TV Tube with C mount
This is the piece you are  bidding on.  An ISO42mm camera port adapter with male C-Mount  attached using a T2 mount thread (center).  Nikon  originally sold these as  "Nikon VT-TY-Tube" to correct for  USB or C Mount cameras used on Microscopes which have the   F type center tube for holding a 23.2 mm Eyepiece in the  Trinocular tube. This concept was used on Labophots, Optiphots,  Apophots, SMZ-2ts and more.... See next picture.
Please Note:  This devise can be  supplied as an ISO-38mm, 37mm, 27mm, and 20.5mm besides the  standard 42mm.
This is the  Nikon original version NI-VT-TV Tube for C-Mount applications.
This is  my version VT-TV Tube for C-Mount applications.  Attached  to a USB C-Mount camera.

By  just adding a T2 camera adapter of your choice you can use your DSLR or MILC camera attached this adapter.  Just remove the  C Mount and add the T2 camera bayonet.  See list below.  You can find one on Ebay or I'll set up a sale  for one. I carry all but don't list them.
The above Adapter  was also designed for other applications. By adding additional  parts the kit is known as an "Extension tube conversion Kit".  These additions allow you to use trinocular camera ports on vaarious microscopes that do not have the inner 'F' Tube which  lets you add 0.5x, 5x, 10x,and other nosepiece or eyepiece  adapter from your lab. This changes the whole game!    You can buy this in my store under T2 adapters. By  adding the most left side piece to the above adapter this allows  correct distance from camera to inserted eyepiece.  The  piece in center can be used on all of my camera adapters which  have the little thumb screw on the side. this piece creates the  inner port 23.2mm insertion holder.  The piece to the most  left is an eyepiece for insertion.
Some of the microscopes this allows you to adapt are  labophot (1),or Optiphots with only a M42 port no inner F mount,  all SMZ trinocular ports (38mmT2 required), All SZX trinocular  ports (42mm dovetail required), Leica Delta,  there are many  more.
