Description

Up for sale is a serviced 1950s symphonic phonograph.
What has been done:
-Cartridge rebuilt
-Tension spring adjusted, making arm much more gentile on records.
-New idler wheel
-Necessary caps replaced
-Motor oiled
-New motor mounts
-Speaker repaired
-Tubes checked to be strong
-New latch hardware for back panel
I'm not sure what model this is, as I have not seen one before. Unit plays beautiful & is gentile on newer 78s. Arm has adjustable tension if change in weight is desired, I made it light as possible to play vinyl 78s without them getting eaten up. Note that the leather handle on top of case is original & fragile, there's also numbers on top of case permitting me to believe this belonged to a school. I recommend carrying unit by the bottom to preserve the aged handle. Furthermore I want a quality machine to go to the purchaser, so I have been playing this unit daily for months & it works great!
Please feel free to ask any questions you have & check out the videos of it playing as linked below.
