beautiful
Antique Northern Plains/ Plateau Fully Beaded Purse or Bag from circa 1900.
The purse is made of native tanned hide with a cloth lining and a narrow flap to close the purse. The purse is fully beaded, mostly thread sewn (it seems only partly with sinew) in wonderful Northern Plains/ Plateau abstract and floral designs in bead colors white, pony trader blue, translucent red (cranberry), black, soft pink, and greasy yellow.
Good condition with clear signs of wear, with soiling and several smaller repairs (crude replacement of lost beads) as visible in pictures.
