Elgin American Compact Vintage Gold Tone Engraved 1949 Mirror Powder 3 1/2"
This is a vintage Elgin American compact that measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/3" x 3/8". This gold tone compact features a powder compartment with snap closure button and a mirror. The back of the compact has been personalized engraved to original owner, " To Mother from Walt and Virginia, Dec. 25, 1949". This compact was owned by a warden's wife. The compact is marked by maker, " Elgin American Made in USA". The mirror comes with the pouch as shown. The front is engraved with a flower motif. There is some everyday wear....light scratches, and gold finish a bit worn in places. It opens and closes securely.  My photos are of the actual item you are getting. SHIPPING DETAILS:  We ship via USPS with insurance on all our items.  If package is less than 13oz it will be sent First Class.  If package is over 13oz to 5 lbs it will be sent Priority Mail.  If package is over 5 lbs it will be sent Priority Mail or Retail Ground.     Book packages less than 5oz will be sent First Class.  Book packages over 5oz will be sent Media Mail.
