EIFFEL TOWER COMPACT Vintage France Gilt/Black Powder Lipstick Well Bevel Mirror

Description

Offered from a local estate is a great Art Nouveau style Gilt & Black compact with
the EIFFEL TOWER on front  in Gilt on a flat black oval,
and printed below on the body in French : TOUR EIFFEL
Around the edges are cut its that show the black through to good decorative effect.
Inside is a well for powder or blush with clean screen BUT the door is bent.
Perhaps from storing something inside that put pressure on the door
ALSO a Lipstick well for your 2 3/8" tube!
Top has a 2 1/4 x 2 3/8" Beveled Mirror.
This has very nice details and is very good quality, too bad about the bent door.  Sure it would straighten a bit with work.
The lid is incised: Modele Depose  Made in France
(owner lived in Morocco believed purchases in the 40s or 50s)
3 1/2 x 3 x 3/8",  about 7/8" thick at lipstick bump

Very good condition but vintage and not perfect
Besides the bent door, the rubbing wear to the surfaces appropriate for age, black in good condition.
