There is some age wear/pitting and small chips in some of the beads (see close-up photos). However, they are in overall good condition considering their age & travels, and will make a great addition to any collection. The photos show the actual beads you will receive. No additional accessories (or the U.S. quarter) are included.
Description:
This strand has 57 millefiori glass beads total, all approximately 0.35" (9mm) in diameter and range in length from 0.35" to 0.75" (19mm). They are strung on raffia cord (which is not antique), and the total strand length is 29".  Because of the handmade process the exact size of each one varies slightly, as can be seen in the photos.
Doug Deal Factoid - Dutch traders were the first Europeans to bring Venetian millefiori beads to West Africa in the late 1400's. The beads were held in high regard by several tribes and were often used as a form of currency. Millefiori beads of this era are still sought after by collectors worldwide.
