    DESCRIPTION:
Look at Simca the way some pretty tough customers do.
    Student nurses, for instance.
Usually they’re charming and generous. But when it comes to picking a new car — they can be pretty tough customers, like most working girls.
Their needs are simple: a foolproof economy car. Nice, neat, affordable. Lively. Easy to park. Hard to hurt. And dirt-cheap to run.
Well Simca isn’t perfect, but at 39☨ it comes closest.
First, on the point of being foolproof. Simca’s 5-year/50,000-mile power train warranty*
removes the guesswork. It’s backed all the way by the Chrysler people.
Simca’s squared-off look pays off in extra room for a covey of girls. Seats are deep, cushy. The all-vinyl interior, practical.
Simca's 52 horses and 4-speed gearbox put zip in driving with less downshifting. And commonly get 35 miles out of each gallon of gas.
Simca does have one flaw: no vanity mirror on the sun visor. But a dealer can fix that in 5 minutes flat.

*SIMCA'S 5-year/50,000-mile engine and drive train warranty coverage:
Chrysler Motors Corporation warrants for 5 years or 50,000 miles, whichever comes first, against defects in material and workmanship and will replace or repair at an Authorised Simca Dealer’s place of business the engine block, head and internal parts, water pump, intake manifold. Trans-Axle parts and rear wheel bearings of Simca models, provided the owner changes engine oil and re-torques cylinder head at first 600 miles and thereafter changes engine Oil every three months or every 4,000 miles, whichever comes first; cleans oil separator every six months (spring and fall); cleans carburetor air filter every 6 months and replaces it every 2 years; cleans the crankcase ventilator valve oil filter cap and changes Trans-Axle lubricant every 6 months or 8,000 miles, whichever comes first; and every 6 months furnishes evidence of this service to an Authorized Simca Dealer or other Chrysler Motors Corporation Authorized Dealer and asks him to certify receipt of such evidence and his car’s mileage.

Mfr’s suggested retail price E. Coast P.O.E. for a Simca 1000. Destination charges, Deluxe trim package, whitewalls eitra.
Some families couln’t swing two cars if it weren’t for Simca.
Like this one. What with eight kids and one budget, the cars just had to be low-priced. Simca, at 39☨ — two for 78 — won out where it counts. On the monthly budget. And on the road.
After price, the biggest attraction was Simca’s 5-year/50,000-mile engine  and drive train warranty* — underwritten by Chrysler Motors Corporation.
Most economy cars they'd seen didn’t come half as close.
Another thing that helped sway them to Simca: four doors, not just two. When the kids pile in,
there’s no swarming over the front seat to get in back. And on Sunday outings, there’s room in each Simca for half a family (if Spot stays home). By the way, since the seats are all-vinyl, a damp cloth handles ice cream drips and such.
The kids, of course, love the way Simca frisks through traffic. But Mom and Dad are more impressed by the way Simca can frisk through 300 miles on about three bucks worth of gas.
Makes two new cars affordable, as well as necessary.

This family really needs a car with a 5-year/50,000 mile warranty.
When a college fraternity picks a 1967 Simca sedan for its campus jitney, you can bet it's going to have a long, hard life.
But then, that's what Simca is built for. It has to be, to rate an engine and drive train warranty good for 5 years or 50.000 miles. Backed all the way by Chrysler Motors.
The Car Buying Committee noted other fine points, too. Simca’s a little tiger, with 52 spunky horsepower in back and 4-on-the-floor. There's more zap, better traction, less downshifting — and
it still gets around 35 miles per gallon. The engine’s also water-cooled, so there’s more and quicker heat for the 8 o'clock run.
No, their Simca won’t win beauty contests. But it’s got 4 doors, plus a frisky look. And the squared-off lines pay off in extra space. Inside the car. Inside the trunk.
When 39☨ buys all this and grained vinyl bucket seats, too. you can understand why the Committee was voted the keys for 4 Saturday nights in a row.
☨ Manufacturer’s suggested retail price East Coast P.O.E. for a Simca 1000. Destination charges, deluxe trim package, whitewall tires extra.
