    ART DECO STYLE SQUARE BLACK ENAMEL LADIES COMPACT WITH A COLOR VIEW OF MISSION SAN FERNANDO IN CALIFORNIA  Measures 2 5/8” square. With mirror and powder pad but no powder. It might have been sold in gift shops without the powder in the 1930s-40s. NO  maker’s mark. In fine condition with NO dents, soiling, stains etc. Has one very faint scratch on the back in the enamel but not into the metal under it. The black enamel and color view looks nearly perfect like it was never used. The mirror and pad are perfect. Also, the hinges and the locking latch work very well. Snaps shut and opens with a snap.
